Postpartum Overnight Services

Rest and recuperate with the assistance of postpartum doula support.

Baby Care Through The Night

Get more sleep while trusting your baby to a nurturing doula. The doula will gently care for your baby as you outline. For nursing mothers, the doula will provide breastfeeding support (as needed), and change and settle the baby for you, allowing you more sleep.

Also…

For bottle-feeding mothers, the doula will care for the baby exclusively during the night, allowing mom and dad to get a full-night’s sleep. The doula can take notes as to the baby’s feeding times and amounts, change diapers, make suggestions for encouraging sleep, wash bottles, and prep formula for the coming day. We have a 6 hrs. minimum per night but no minimum number of nights. Try one night and see if it works for you!

🌙 Overnight Care Policy

During overnight postpartum support, I do not provide continuous awake care throughout the night. Once all agreed-upon tasks (such as feeding support, diaper changes, and light household duties like baby laundry or bottle washing) are completed, I will rest while the baby is asleep. I remain available and responsive to the baby’s needs during the shift and will attend to the baby as needed throughout the night.

A flat and safe sleeping surface (such as a couch, daybed, or guest bed) must be provided for the doula to rest during overnight care.

Overnight Rate

$45/hour

Minimum of 4 hours a shift, starting time no earlier than 9 pm and ending time no later than 6 am

*case by case situation depending on the number of babies and driving distance*
